Discovery Center :)))

Blog readers yo! Y

Updates !!
Weekend spent at Discovery center with dearest!
Seriously, its a waste of cash la. Nothing much to see, i prefer Science center more. But its okay, treat it as an experience =]
Interesting happenings during weekend is not about the things we saw at DC but the journey to and fro DC.

Firstly, we took a bus to DC when we reached Boon Lay interchange.
Sad to say, the bus was not air-conditioned. We perspired like mad. ahahs..
That's not the worst....

In the bus, there were these two foreign workers who walked from the back of the bus to the front and wanted to alight at the front door.
Obviously, it's a stupid thing to do, thou there wasn't anyone boarding the bus. If you say it's for convenience, you were like sitting at the back so isn't the back door more convenient? So lame la. Moreover, the bus was not crowded at all, or should i say almost empty..hahas...

The bus driver insisted on not opening the door. In the end both of them unwillingly alighted from the back. *grins* haas...I mean they deserved it lo, doing such stuff isn't COOL. I know is bad to say that. :/ So please ppl.. be considerate, if you can alight from the back door please do so. Because the front door is mend for boarding and the back door is obviously for alighting. Unless, the bus is super crowded and you're closer to the front door den i'll understand. Or you have certain acceptable reasons like pregnant, disabled and stuff.

Hahas..i sound like some bus driver lah. lol.

Okay, now the journey back, from Dc to Boon Lay interchange....
We waited for the bus for half and hour to fourty-five mins...Sad.
The bus was as usual not air-conditioned and this time it's super duper crowded. Almost 3/4 of the passengers were foreign workers. As you know, Boon Lay area got lots of factories.
The entire bus journey is kinda torturing, i feel like as if i am in Mainland?
They on their Hokkien and Mainland song loudly like nobody's business. lol.
And their hair spray smell is strong lo. :/
It totally doesn't feels like I'm in SG. ahahs...rare experience.

But dearest told me it's understandable that they behave that way.
They have less education, and only weekends they get to breathe some fresh air out of the factories. (usually they lived in the factory's hostel) They hardly see the society, and the people they hang out with are also like them.

So, i feel kinda guilty looking down on them. erm...
Maybe those high class tai tai also looking down on average people like us. ahhas.

Anw, the trip was really a rare experience for me.
I lived in the central area, there are very few factories at my area so that's why i din get to see the other side of life. At least they came SG to work and earn money with their bare hands + hardwork. Unlike those that steal. rob and cheat in SG. :))) So for those who are working hard, Strive on!

Recently, went to a service with dearest.
Feels quite okay.
Went out with his friends, Teresa, Ye Chao, Ye Sheng and Le Tian...
Which are now my friends as well. ahhas. They are really nice people and very friendly. :)) Y

We went for steamboat and singing.
There is this $10 family karaoke at Chinatown.
Smith Street 35A. Third floor. :)) Nearest MRT Chinatown purple line, head to Exit A. detailed enough? hahas.
The ambiance is good, and they have free flow of drinks and a bowl of sharks fin soup each.
Its super worth it!

Time really passes fast, its like the third week of school le.
Studies wise is still manageable, classmates wise still adapting to the new people. =)
Hope all will be fine. Y

Will be meeting Ling, Ter and Xian this coming Fri... Happy!! :))))

Okay. PiCas are up! =]
