HEAR ME YO

IKEA(: 让创意有个家!

I finally watched the movie 'Coming Soon' ,

with Bestie and Patrick yesterday.

By the producers of Shutter, Alone and 4bia.

They seriously never fail to make me terrified!

'Coming soon' has lots of sudden frights that were damn scary.

A number of false alarms as well, thanks ah!! Haa.

(I'm like so prepared for the worst then nothing happen.)

Anyway, the twist in the story was pretty well done. (:

I like!

Erm..I still prefer Shutter thou. ((:

After movie, we dined at IKEA.

Had lots of food.

Was very hungry,

caused i skipped my breakfast and lunch.

Haa. Very bad example.

Shhhh...

Patrick headed home.

While i stayed over at Bestie's place,

till this afternoon.

And here i am blogging. (:

Btw, I didn't know the way to 'The Cathay'

yesterday. OMG right. :(

吃火锅☺

lalalala.

Had steamboat yesterday and today!

Sinful ok.

But satisfied. (:(:

Yesterday was with my parents.

Had lots of Toufu, Golden Mushroom and Pork!

Golden mushroom is my favourite yo!

Today was with Pengpeng and his friend.

Ate lots of food,

laughed at lots of crappy stuff.

Haha.

Anw, i learned that..

应酬 really meant socialising in China,

but in Singapore it becomes almost the same meaning as

敷衍. Haas.

( E.g. 你在应酬我吗?!)

Erm. SG lots of nonsensical slangs too. (:

Example...

Ah Then

In other words, "isn't it obvious?"

A rhetorical question used to express disgust

at the listener's stupidity in grasping the obvious.
(E.g: Ah Mao: Go World Trade Center can take 61 meh?

Ah Kow: Ah then? Of cos lar! )

Arrow

To be tasked to do something (especially something undesirable).

(E.g.Wah lau! My boss "arrow" me to do this job. I very pek chek lah!! )

Bakchew tah stamp

Which literally means "eye stuck with a stamp" or "very blind."

(E.g. Walk cannot walk properly ah, Bakchew tah stamp!! )

Catch No Ball

Meaning: Don't understand.

(E.g.Can you repeat that again? I catch no ball leh!)

Chiminology

To describe difficult words such that one cannot understand.

(E.g.When writing must use some chiminology,

then teacher will think that I am very educated mah. )

HAHA! Okay.

That's what makes SG unique right. (:

IYSG!

Slangs and Singlish can be entertaining too!

Our Mr Phua Chu Kang portrays this very fact.

Director Jack Neo as well. Hahas.

However, do not use them to entertain your English teacher.

Dayout @ the Zoo!

Back from a trip to the Zoo with Spongebob. (:

Lots of walking and snapping of pictures.

The animals are super adorable,

even thou most of them are lazing around.

I even feed the Kangaroos!

The feeling was kind of gross because of it's saliva.

But they were really cute when they were eating. Y

Managed to catch the Splash Safari show.

Starring the

jackass penguins,

Californian sea lion,

Caribbean manatees and the pelicans.

The sea lions are very smart animals. :)
